Camp No Kids Schedule

Friday, October 2nd- 3-6pm Check-In: Welcome to Camp! Grab your camp packet, choose your camp activities, and your your cabin assignment at the front office then unload all of your gear in your cabin. From there, head over to the Thicket area, where we will have a Happy Hour Welcome Reception, Swimming in Lake Ted, Ziplining, Inflatable Slip N Slide & Team Building Games! Beer & Margaritas Served.
6-7:30pm Team Competition 1:
Meet us at the tennis courts for a game of O-Ball that you won’t forget! You’ll receive your team assignment and be competing for points towards the overall most-badass team at camp!
7:30-9pm Freshen & Dinner: Clean up in your cabin & meet us in the Rio Grande for beef and chicken fajitas, guacamole, sautéed onions, black bean casserole, tossed arugula salad, churros and tres leches cake.
9pm-11pm Superheroes & Villains Dance Party: Wear your favorite Superhero or Villain costume to our Pavilion dance party & we’ll provide the fun! Full bar open for your enjoyment!
11pm-1am Live Oak Lounge Games: Tables set with your favorite childhood board games, cards, cocktails & music.

Saturday, October 3rd- 7:30-8am Yoga in the Pavilion: Take some time to ‘center your chi’ before your jam-packed day at camp begins!
8:30-9:30am Breakfast: Get fueled for a day of fun! Be sure to check the Camp Bulletin Board in the Live Oak Room for your Activity Schedule! Serving scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast sticks, fresh fruit, Granola and yogurt, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea and, of course, Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar.
9:30-10:30am Team Competition 2: Bring you’re A Game to the basketball courts for an intense game of drinking dodgeball. Points will go towards your team average!
10:30-12:30pm Activity Time 1: Choose from ziplining, horseback ride, rockwall climbing, arts/crafts/cocktails, and survival skills.
12:30-2pm Beach Lunch Party: Meet us at Balcones Beach for an Island-Themed beach lunch complete with grilled chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, quinoa edamame salad, salt and vinegar chips, chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies, lemonade, ice tea and a selection of beers and wines.
2-3pm Recharge: What big kid doesn’t LOVE nap time?! Head back to your cabin for an afternoon snooze or take a little walk…either way, you’ll want to rest up for the duration of your camp fun! 3-6pm: Activity Time 2: Choose (2) from ropes course, archery, rocket ship building, skeet shooting, paddleboard yoga and Zumba dance class.
6-7pm Freshen Up: Put on your Wild West finest for nighttime activities!
7-8:30pm Dinner: Head back up to the Rio Grande for Happy Hour at 7 followed by a delicious dinner featuring smoked brisket and ribs, link sausage, vinaigrette cole slaw, baked beans, jalapeno corn bread and a full open bar.
8:30pm-11pm Rodeo Roundup: Boot Scoot N’ Boogy Time! Line dancing lessons start at 8:30 and photo booth opens at 9! Our camp counselors will ‘wow’ you with some cupcake beer & wine pairings while the dance floor will be open to showcase all of your favorite moves.
11pm-1am Bonfire & S’mores: We will keep the party going under the moonlight! Head over to the fishing pond Bonfire Pit for a s’mores bar, music & good times by the fire! Who’s got ghost stories?!

Sunday, October 4th- 8:30-9am Yoga: Stretch out that hangover & start your last morning at camp off right.
9am-10am Breakfast: Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar will carry you through and Breakfast Taco Bar will fill you up for our last day!
10-11am Team Competition #3: Last chance to show off your athletic skills! Meet us at the Kickball Field for a game you will definitely want to play again and again!
11:30am Camp Closing: Meet is in the Rio Grande room for the camp closing ceremony. See you next time at Camp No Kids!

Event Spaces

Our choice of rooms for your event or dining experience offer amenities that reflect attributes of the surrounding Texas Hill Country. See our indoor and outdoor spaces and their capacities for different meeting set-ups in the above photo.
Looking for a unique location for your event at The Retreat? Balcones Springs is home to a beach, limestone terrace, bonfire pits, and an amphitheater. Speak with your event coordinator about using one of these spaces for your meetings.

Accommodations

Join us for an overnight or weekend experience you will not forget. Our 42 comfortable, Western-inspired guest cabins provide overnight accommodations for up to 215 people. Guest rooms are located throughout our property and each have Saltillo floors, yellow pine interiors, private bathrooms, individual work areas and striking views of the Hill Country. Each room provides basic comforts including warm country comforters, cotton percale sheets, individual temperature controls and wireless internet. These rooms have charm and warmth that is often missing in hotels and conference centers. 
All are decorated in Southwestern motif and each has its own unique combination of artwork, colorful blankets and cowhide rugs. Guest accommodations are available with king-size or twin beds. 
Our overnight packages includes a cabin, meals and full use of our property and amenities. Any group on any budget can be stress free and happy while holding their retreat at The Retreat at Balcones Springs. As a wilderness retreat, we recognize the value of after-hours camaraderie. Therefore we do not provide television sets in individual rooms. However, we offer a big-screen television in our cozy Bluebonnet game room.

Catering

Our professional chefs require only the highest quality ingredients and service for your unique culinary experience.The Balcones Springs chefs come from all over the world and offer experience as diverse as classically trained Culinary Institute of America graduates, to long-time corporate catering and restaurant chefs, all with an undeniable passion for food. They are uniquely qualified to design and prepare an extensive customized menu based on seasonal ingredients that offers something to delight every culinary taste, from Thai-style crabcakes and sesame-crusted salmon to chicken-fried rib-eye and hand-made empanadas.
For our health conscious guests, please enjoy these and other fine dishes prepared in “heart-healthy” manners (i.e. low-fat, low salt, low-sugar, low cholesterol). Furthermore, our chef’s have extensive experience and are happy to accommodate any special dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, organic, and plant-based.

Alcohol Services
Balcones Springs offers a Host Bar or Cash Bar.
Host Bar: your master account will be charged according to the number of drinks consumed by guests.
Cash Bar: guests are charged per drink. Drinks may be paid for at the bar or applied to their individual cabin and billed upon checkout.
  **We are a fully-licensed property and must serve and sell all alcoholic beverages.
